I have so much love for these two. Their union is one that will change the world. This is not something I say lightly. They are amazing individuals but together they are truly exceptional. They love deeply and live compassionately. When you’re in their presence, they both go out of their way to make you feel special, valued and heard. They are love, and together they shine with the brightest light. Brooke’s sister explained the effect their union has on the world around them as a pebble being dropped into a pond and the waves it creates carry love and light into the world. It’s undeniable the power these two have together.
Brooke and Rob’s day was filled with peace, love and a collection of some of the most beautiful souls in all the land. Their ceremony was blessed by a fox that entered and held space through the beginning of the wedding rituals. The clouds billowed and danced above us as we sat at the top of the world at the Sunrise Amphitheater witnessing the beginning of this beautiful union. Their friends and family shared in their ceremony with a special song and sermon, and as Brooke and Rob kissed for the first time as husband and wife, lightening struck in the distance, a serge of energy connecting the earth and sky that seemed to originate from their embrace.
Following the ceremony, Brooke and Rob took some time to just be and take in their vows; protecting, honoring and preserving the sacredness of their union. This is the best thing a couple can do after their ceremony. It’s easy to get caught up in the schedule of the day and move on to the next event. I cannot recommend this enough to anyone getting married, even if it’s just for a few minutes.
The celebration continued at the Rembrandt Yard Art Gallery and everyone danced the night away… and when I say danced, I mean they really danced and to the best variety of music I’ve heard in a long time. We dined on delicious dishes and enjoyed desserts and treats made with love by their family and friends, with a grand finale of the mother-of-the-bride’s famous carrot cake.
This was truly a special wedding to document. I’m blessed to know these two and grateful for their friendship. My heart continues to overflow with the love and light I experienced on this most special of days. Without a doubt their love creates waves and connects the people around them. May we all create such waves.
Love and Light,
Heather
